Daniel Villegas Naranjo studied Chemistry at the University of Seville, where he obtained his B.Sc. After gaining experience in private laboratories and various sectors, he completed his M.Sc. in the Department of Physical Chemistry in 2025, under the supervision of Dr. Rafael Prado Gotor. His Master’s thesis was titled: «Study of Stability and Optimization in the Synthesis of Gold Metallic Nanoparticles Stabilized with Fenugreek Extracts». Currently, he is pursuing his doctoral studies in the «CataNa» group, supervised by Dr. Luis M. Martínez-Prieto. His research focused on the use of supported metal nanopratilces (MNPs) for the hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) as potential liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHCs)
